Well, I guess we'll see how things go for those of us anti-Casey folks.

Tv seemed to say maybe a couple of days. Probably too early to know.

What are the rules?
Can we put him on the DL and activate Shelton?

Brian

No. There's no DL rule in the post season.

My understanding is as long as it is a legit injury, we can activate a player
from the non post season roster, so Shelton or Stairs can replace Casey if
needed.

Not Stairs. He was picked up after a player would be allowed to play
in the post season.

And I think an earlier poster was right. We can't change our roster
even if there is a serious injury.

Perez instead of Shelton?

Bad move, as it turns out. Keeping a 3rd middle infielder was wrong
over keeping no back up 1st baseman. Can V. Wilson play 1st?

But the Tiger pitching can overcome Casey's injury. Infante at SS and
Guillen at 1st?

Brian

This is an interesting scenario. If Casey gets better as we go and we
move to the World Series --- do you go with a hobbled Casey or hope
that Shelton comes through.

And Casey was so clutch in the last couple weeks.

The Tigers will be fine. Guilen at 1st. And if they need him
Pudge......Pitching is what is going to win it......And Casey will be
back by game 4 to celebrate.
