Anybody notice Detroit's strategy against Zito?
Detroit laid off Zito's first pitch. It was an incredible LaRussa-esque plan that Leyland used. Zito lost some big bucks in free agency with that loss. If the Series becomes Detroit-St Louis, then I think we will se lots of manager moves in the came. It may even take the appearance of human baseball chess.

There was a batting strategy employed against the Pads' pitcher on Saturday(can't recall his name at the moment) that didn't work. Tony and Hal McCrae changed the batting strategy for Sunday's game.
