Default Corey Lidle?

If this is true, what a terrible way to go. Traded from Philly to New
York at the deadline, left the Yankees on August 18 for bereavement of
his grandmother, never seemed entirely back afterwards with three
terrible starts in six appearances, and a horrible game four in the
playoffs. Then this.

The 2nd Yankee player to be killed flying a small plane - horrible thing
for Lidle's family and for the family of the flight instructor. I hope
no one in the building was injured.

I am shocked. We hear a lot on local radio about Corey because he is from
South Hills High School. I don't know what it is about celebrities that
come from your home town but people tend to feel a since of pride when a
home town boy makes good. Really really sad. No love lost for the Yanks
but it does make me kind of wish they had lasted a little longer in the
play-offs. Maybe things would have turned out differently. Very sad indeed.
