Default $52.00 To Park @ Shea!!!

I can understand that tickets have to be priced higher for the post season,
well almost. But I can't believe that they raised the parking to $26.00 for
post season games. This is just gouging the fan. So tonight's $26.00 to park
and then another $26.00 for the rescheduled game on Friday. In essence
$52.00 to park to attend one game. You should be allowed to use the ticket
for tonight's parking for Friday. But I know that will never happen...

Same thing happened at Yankme stadium last week. Same price, too.
These parking contractors hired by the City are encouraged to rip off
the patrons as much as possible. Think of it as a way to help the City
kick in to the new stadium deals, i.e. corporate welfare.

They should give a "rain check" for the parking too.

Wouldn't it be worthwhile to park a few train stops away and take the train?

Hint, hint, they don't want you to drive. Did you notice anything in the lot
East of Shea?

That is what I do but it is still $22 to park at the Port Authority. If they
start Friday's game at 1PM it is free parking.

Port Authority where? And how is it free during the day?

I agree with earlier posts that they should offer a rain check
on the parking. That's really shameful (although I don't think
anyone does it).

The one that is right there when I exit the Lincoln Tunnel. The one with a
private ramp into the Tunnel. 2 hour delay, not for me.
If I told you everyone would park there. Do you like soccer and can you walk
a 1/2 mile?

For what it's worth, Signs at Shea this morning read, "$20.00". They read,
"$26.00" for last weeks game. Maybe they got tired of making change.

And still ONE more "For what it's worth", you can park AT SHEA, in the
Park & Ride, morning of game, for $3, yes, three dollars. You car is in
the lot, you ride the #7 to work, and your car is there for you after the
game.
