I have no idea what talent she was known for, but I watch old repeats of
Match Game in large part to get glimpses of Elaine Joyce who I find to
be incresdibly sexy. Of course these are 1970s and 1980s shows so who
knows what she looks like these days?

Yeah, Sommers is annoying too. If I recall the lore surrounding her I
think Match Game wanted her husband (Klugman?) as a regular and the only
way he'd agree to do it was if she could be on once in a while. For
whatever reason he only appeared a few times and she became the regular.

SJP has moments of cuteness but overall very over-rated IMO. A family joke
of ours when I was growing up was how the show 'Square Pegs' was the dumbest

Interestingly, this came up last night as a movie of hers played
on HBO): I think this woman is about as gorgeous a 60-ish year-old
as you can hope to meet. Hell, I know women at least 20 years
younger who would kill to look as good:
