Default Notice some similarities in this AL playoff?

Big hitter on the losing team...useless. (Frank Thomas)

Detroit basically creaming Oakland.

A few hits, but no clutch hits.

Looks very much like our series against them.

May be that Detroit is just a very young, talented, agressive team that is
taken lightly. With pitching that has hit its stride...and that makes any
other team look dull and listless.

Don't get carried away, that was Esteban Loiaza pitching.

Yeah, seems like old Esteban ranks right there with Randy Johnson and
Mike Mussina in terms of performance in the playoffs. With pitching like
that, Detroit looks even better.

Hanging your hopes on 44 yr old scarecrows doesn't help. Look at the
Staffs the team had when they wrere winning WS and compare. It's all
about pitching, not having pitchers who were once good.
Against a decent hitting team, with good pitching, they're dead. JMO
