I remember watching this game and was just struck in awe how everything
changed from one moment to the next. I am Met fan following the NLCS, but I was also watching this game interested in seeing if the Angels were going to clinch. I really feel bad that Donnie Moore had to endure this guilt until he died, but it wasn't his fault. |

That was an ugly, unforgiving post-season, as I remember. As great as
it was to see the Mets win the Series, particularly with the players involved, it's hard to say the negatives didn't outweigh the positives. Moore's pitch to Henderson and the fallout was the worst of it, though certainly not the most oft spoken.
